This is a special workshop is in place of the December Board meeting. It is in support of LSC‘s Strategic Planning committee‘s efforts to define the goals of the club and actions to achieve those goals.

Hi all, time for the next chicken chase. For those not familiar, here‘s how it works: all attendees put $20 into a common pot (bring cash) and their name into a hat. One name is drawn from the hat and that person becomes the chicken, donning the full-body chicken costume. The chicken gets a half-hour headstart to hide in a bar somewhere within a box drawn on a map (this time, South St. area) with everyone‘s money. Remaining attendees are divided up into teams of 3 or 4 people, and after the half-hour delay, head out to find the chicken. Anytime a single team member looks into a bar to find the chicken, all team members must go into the bar for 1 drink. Once a team finds the chicken, they get to drink from the common pot of money. This time around we‘re doing South St. Everyone will gather at O‘Neals Pub (611 S. 3rd St) at 1pm on Saturday, Dec. 13th. Last time our chicken was Bill Yang - maybe this time it‘ll be you?!

New Year‘s Eve is just around the corner! We‘re going to ring in the new year by watching fireworks from the docks! Low-key event, bring some food for everyone to share if you‘d like. Fireworks are happening on the Delaware at 6pm and midnight - the current plan is to meet up at the clubhouse around 5.30, see fireworks at 6, reconvene at the clubhouse, and then back out to the dock at midnight. No need to stay for the whole thing if you just wanted to watch one of the shows. See you there!
