Welcome to Liberty Sailing Club

Located on the Delaware River in Center City Philadelphia, Liberty Sailing Club (LSC) is a not-for-profit organization owned and operated by its 100+ members. We are the only Sailing Club in Philadelphia that offers access to Club Owned Boats!

 

Liberty Sailing Club welcomes everyone interested in sailing, whoever you are, wherever you come from, whatever your experience level. If you want to sail in Philadelphia, Liberty is for you!

Following US Sailing's lead, we are committed to achieving greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in the sport of sailing and fostering an environment that is welcoming to all sailors.

One-design Racing

Wednesday & Thursday evenings are race night starting in April. A Race Committee sets up a course on the Delaware River each night. The season champion is awarded the Annie O'Riordan Cup in September.


Cruising

Many of our members prefer a more relaxed Cruising and Social Sailing experience. We have many offerings on weekday evenings and on weekends from April to November.

Social

In addition to sailing, we host numerous social events throughout the year on the dock or in our clubhouse, which is a short walk from the marina.
