What is this?
In this class, we are going to do at least 3 beers to showcase the 3 main methods by which people brew at home: All-grain (more complicated) and 2 extracts (less complicated).
One 8-gallon all grain brew, and two 5 gallon extract brews. For the 3 beers (based on our scientific polling results from the tasting event) it would be fun to do the same beer all-grain, and extract so that people can taste the difference the results from the different processes... So all-grain Sculpin style IPA, extract Sculpin style IPA, and then an extract Belgian Strong Ale (because that was the 2nd most popular style and a style the lends itself well to extract brewing in my opinion).

An all-grain brew takes around 5 hours start to finish.
