The Cruising Committee is moving on to the next steps towards the LSC sailing vacation in the waters of Croatia!  The trip will be held from September 21, 2024 to September 28, 2024. We will charter out of and return to the Moorings Agana base which is near Split. This is their main Croatian charter location.  

If you are interested in joining the trip, please register here and make a $100.00 per-person (refundable) deposit to Mark Girardot. This money is needed to reserve boats. If you have a preferred cabin-mate, please include them as a guest on your registration (even if they're a club member). If registering separately please identify your cabin-mate in the registration question.

The number of skippers/boats is still in flux so there is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate everyone who registers. Knowing how many people are interested will help us balance boats, skippers, and crew as we address these areas in parallel.  Once the number of skippers and boats are finalized, the priority for crew members will be club members first, then ex-members, then non-members. Each group will also be prioritized by order of sign-up so please register as soon as possible.

As a reminder:

• Approximate per person costs for travel and the charter (assuming shared cabin/room and all cabins fully occupied) is between $2400 and $4850. Refer to the “Want to Sail the Waters of Croatia” announcement email sent on June 13 for more details.  We will be able to provide a better estimate of the charter costs when the boats have been reserved, and crew assigned.
