Hello Liberty Sailors! 

This Labor Day weekend is our clubs fall social sail on the Chesapeake. For those of you unfamiliar with the format a group of members arrange to charter some boats from Rockhall, MD and spend the long weekend around and about the Chesapeake. Where they go and where they stay is all determined by the crew and the weather.

The cost to charter the boat is usually around $400-500 per person, depending on the crew size and the boat.  We usually charter from Haven Charters (410-639-7140).  The better boats usually get taken early, so don't delay.

Each boat will need a captain with cruising experience/training to reserve the boat.  Please note if you can qualify as a skipper.

There are still a couple of spots open so if your interested please let Ed Denton know.

Its a fun weekend and a great chance to get experience with chartering cruising yachts.
