About this event
Organized but informal, low-key racing using the permanent buoys off of Petty Island for the marks and starting line. Great way for skippers to gain experience in close-quarter sailing and handling a crew under racing conditions. Results will not be recorded and points will not be tallied. Teams will be formed on the dock. Boats depart marina at 5:30 p.m. with racing starting at 6:00 p.m. Skippers must be competent* with the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) (*must have attended one of the 2022 racing rules seminars offered by the club). To sign up as a skipper you must be on the MAR Skipper list. To get on the MAR skipper list, contact J.P., Jessica or John.
